Missives from Troy is an independent publication launched in February 2025 by Helen Doremus, loosely adjacent to blogs she has had in the past. She chose to move to Ghost mostly because then her words don't get immediately ground up into AI training sludge. They should at least have to work for it, y'know?

There are loose plans to self-publish chapters/short-stories of fiction in the future, and those will be behind a short paywall just for the principle of the thing.
